So over the Fourth of July holiday we loaded up the family truckster with enough supplies for two months on a desert island and headed off to Point Lookout State Park. We went with many of our friends and had a great time. The weather wasn't ideal, it was pretty hot and sticky and it rained. Also, many of our neighbors at the campground felt the need to share their music with everyone else in the campground. We had dueling neighbors, one camp blasting HOT 93.3 R&B and the other camp blasting Columbian pop hits. Here's the tent we called home for one night.
The best part about the weekend was spending time at the beach. Henry was so hot and was crying, Zach cooled him off in the water and he was happy as a clam. Ryan Hunter brought his kayak and Zach practiced (unsuccessfully) the eskimo roll. Only Ryan was successful. We had a great time swimming and even Alicia was quick to get in the water to escape the heat.
The second day we went swimming these jelly fish (pictured in the frisbee) tried to wreck the party. We still swam and no one got stung.
