On Monday, we decided to brave the crowds at Arlington Cemetery. It was definitely worth it. We weren't able to get into the memorial day service, but we listened from a distance where we heard the 21 canon salute (we were really close to the canons so I had to cover Henry's ears), the National Anthem, and some of President Bush's speech. We didn't see the president, but we did watch his motorcade go by. Being there made me feel super patriotic and extremely grateful for all those men and women that died for our country.

We seem to have something in common, two somethings in common.
