On Saturday we braved the crowds to see the annual Kite Flying & Cherry Blossom Festival at the National Mall. After almost suffocating and being trampled to death at the Smithsonian metro stop, we enjoyed sitting on a blanket and watching the kites, blossoms & crowds. Our favorite discovery was seeing a couple wearing his and hers matching ear muffs.

i wish it was warm enough here for there to actually be flowers and blossums on the trees.
